Weeding

There is a small garden in the back of my apartment complex. The rental company put down a rock bed on top of plastic with no visible plants when I moved in. Today, that backyard space is overgrown with weeds and I must go out into the hot sun and remove them as it is becoming a nuisance for the neighbors.

It's done now; so back to this post. It takes about 4 hours of solid work in the sun and around 6 90L trash bags to complete. My back is sore and I can say that it isn't an experience I enjoyed. That said, I did pay someone to do this work back in the day, and it cost 22k JPY to get it done.

I have decided that 22k JPY was a steal for the effort involved.
